Introduction

Hey! I’m Ryan, and I am a freelance Illustrator. I have worked mainly with authors, but I consider myself a Jack of all illustration trades. I tackle all sorts of custom illustration jobs from album art to band posters, pencil sketches of historical architecture to anything you can imagine! I work mainly in digital mediums these days, but I also love to get my hands dirty with traditional ones! Check out some of my recent work!

PICTURE BOOKS

Carmen Clark is a Kindergarten teacher and the author of The Three Turkeys Gobble. For years, she read her Thanksgiving themed spin on The Three Billy Goats Gruff to her delighted students. But when she decided it was time to take her story beyond her classroom, she hired me to illustrate her story! I loved bringing new life to her three crafty turkeys and devious pilgrim! Plus, I added the element of visual storytelling her story needed to reach kids outside her classroom!

Old Man Bailey Workbook

Mike Bailey, AKA “Old Man Bailey,” has been an advertising executive, a congressional candidate, and a restorer of historic log cabins and barns. If that isn’t impressive enough, he is now publishing his own memoire/instruction manual for building cabins, barns, and personal wealth! He had a great manuscript full of wisdom and step-by-step instructions, but he was missing detailed pictures of the process. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and since his book was already expected to be over 300 pages long, he needed a little help from illustrations. I was lucky to contribute over 100 illustrations to what I know will be one amazing book!
